The Perse School Singapore: Mathematics Teacher

Join a dedicated and passionate team of Primary School educators in establishing The Perse School in Singapore. A renowned Primary school originating from Britain, the school is open to children 6 years to 11 years of age. We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher who possesses a fun and bubbly disposition with a passion to teach in a fun and engaging way.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Mathematics lessons according to the teaching plan.
  • Update and correspond with parents on the students’ progress.
  • Be sensitive, caring and attentive to students’ needs and well-being.
  • Provide clear and confident explanation of programmes and activities to prospective parents.
  • Plan, review and evaluate lessons.
  • Tailor-make updates to the existing curriculum to better suit each class.
  • Assist the Head of Curriculum in curriculum development.  
Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education / Mathematics / or other related degrees from NUS, NTU, NIE or other reputable universities.
  • Absolute fluency in English. (Lessons will be conducted in English and communication with parents in English)
  • Passion in learning and teaching.
  • Must love working with children.
  • Must possess a fun-loving, energetic and bubbly disposition.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
White Lodge: Team Teacher
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in planning and implementing the daily programme for children aged 18 months to six (6) years and helping them to become aware of their roles as integral members of the group.
  • Assisting the teacher in the ordered arrangement, appearance, and décor and learning environment of the classroom.
  • Helping with the housekeeping tasks, that is, setting up and cleaning.
  • Participating in staff meetings and parent conferences on children’s school adjustment and other classroom behaviour.
  • Assisting during holiday programmes and participating in recommended training programmes and other aspects of professional growth.
  • Maintaining professional attitudes and loyalty to the School at all times.
  • Assuming an equal share of the joint housekeeping responsibilities of the staff.
  • To be responsible in looking after the assigned area of responsibilities.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Principal or Director
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Education or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate high level of communication skills
  • Absolute fluency in English (the medium of instruction)
William Penn Academy: Curriculum Director

The Curriculum Director is responsible for the creation, implementation, and upkeep of a robust curriculum for children aged 3-6 years old, as well as responsible for the overall delivery of said curriculum.

Responsibilities:
  • Train, monitor, evaluate and assist all teachers and teaching assistants.
  • Mentor all junior early childhood teachers.
  • Execute the implementation of prepared lesson plans with objectives and learning outcomes that will engage children and to meet varying needs and learning styles of children.
  • Establish and maintains a positive working relationship with parents and other staff members.
  • Establish a nurturing relationship with the children in addition to serving as a positive role model.
  • Monitor plans and prepare class projects, field trips and other experiential activities.
  • Track all teaching materials stock numbers and consolidate orders from teachers for replenishment or new orders.
  • Evaluate, modify and enrich the existing curriculum to match learners’ needs.
  • Possess knowledge of age-appropriate activities and child development philosophies and best practices for 3 – 6-year-old children.
  • Lead monthly lesson plan meetings and professional development meetings.
  • Manage teaching budget.
  • Monitor and Implement the HEART principles of Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork
Requirements:
  • Preferred 5 years teaching early childhood education
  • Prefer Masters in Education in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (Bachelors will be considered with commensurate experience)
  • Preferred 3-5 years of managerial/supervisory experience in early childhood education.
  • ESL Instructional Credentials
  • Preferred qualifications / experience in Theatre and Drama.
Invictus International School: Admissions Officer

The Admissions Officer is responsible for recruitment and analysing the applications of prospective students based on the school’s admission standards. He/she is also expected to answer enquiries parents have regarding admissions and thus must have excelling communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
  • Organise and conduct at least 3 school tours on weekdays for prospective parents, ensuring the maintenance of high quality customer experiences at all times;
  • Effectively participate in initiatives to drive student recruitment and enrolment opportunities (including after-hours on evenings and weekends);
  • Able to have a clear understanding of the school’s policies and standards in regards to admission, and follow accordingly;
  • Point of contact for prospective families from enquiry to enrolment of new students;
  • Record and report accurate information on the entry process of students
  • Liaise and build positive relationships with various stakeholders and prospective parents of the school
  • Initiative to regularly follow-up on prospective parents via email, telephone, social media and in person;
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities as prescribed by Management
Requirements:
  • Education Admission & customer service experience is desirable.
  • Familiar with private education and have some understanding of the local community in Singapore.
  • Strong initiative to follow-up on prospective parents.
  • Affinity with and interest in Education.
  • Warm and friendly nature, unflappable under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Good team player.
  • Computer literacy and Social Media Savvy.
  • Fluency in oral and written English to liaise with English speaking parents.
  • Ability to understand and converse in other languages will be advantageous for parents of other nationalities.
Repton Schoolhouse: Lead English Teacher
